The LifeSupport Appeal
Find out about our plans to give TheSite.org its biggest makeover yet.
What's it all about?
We know that TheSite.org is good, but we want to make it great. We've got massive plans to improve the site and its services so you can always get the help you need. But to do this we need to raise enough funds, so YouthNet (the charity behind TheSite.org) has launched the LifeSupport Appeal.
What changes are going to be made?
We aim to totally transform TheSite.org, making it easier to use with exciting new features, but don't worry, we're not getting rid of all the bits you love - just adding and improving.
We've still got lots of planning and research to do, but these are some of the improvements we're considering:
- The ability to post user-generated content
- An improved search function
- Fully-integrated community boards
- Quicker response to personal questions on askTheSite
We also want to recruit young people from all over the UK to help us shape the redevelopment, making sure that the improved TheSite.org is responding to what young people have told us they need.
"We aim to totally transform TheSite.org, making it easier to use with exciting new features"
Alongside this, we really need to promote TheSite.org more widely, making sure every young person who needs help and advice knows where we are.
Through the LifeSupport Appeal we want to make sure TheSite.org continues to be relevant, interesting and a continuing source of help - not just now, but for years to come.
Can I get involved?
We hoped you'd ask that... we really want as many of our users to get involved as possible. Here are just a few ways that you can get involved and make a real difference:
